Guapa, exitosa y con un gran corazón. La cantante de Unmbrella, Rihanna, conmovida por la historia de Lisa Gershowitz, enferma de leucemia, unió sus esfuerzos a la fundación DKMS para colaborar en la búsqueda de un donante compatible.

La paciente, de 41 años, fue diagnosticada con un acusado caso de leucemia, un cáncer que afecta a la sangre y la médula ósea, contando con tan sólo seis semanas para poder encontrar un donante.

Al conocer el caso, Rihanna decidió llevar a cabo una petición pública solicitando ayuda. Tras el mensaje se recibieron 5.000 llamadas y emails en DKMS, con sede en Alemania, consiguiendo además 2.000 nuevos registros. Con tal respuesta no se tardó en encontrar donante.

Lisa, madre de un niño de cinco años y una niña de tres, declaró no tener palabras de agradecimiento para la cantante. Por su parte Rihanna reconoció:”cuando me enteré del caso de Lisa mi corazón se rompió. Me dije, yo voy a ser la voz de Lisa de inmediato”.

Para resguardar la seguridad de sus fanáticos, la cantante Rihanna ha prohibido el ingreso de paraguas durante sus conciertos.

Según informó el diario Daily Star, los seguidores de la artista acudían a los show portando paraguas para agitarlos durante el popular tema ‘Umbrella’; sin embargo, durante el último concierto en el Reino Unido, los efectivos de seguridad recibieron instrucciones de confiscarlos.

“Normalmente no le pedimos a la gente que deje su paraguas afuera. pero estamos tomando precauciones para evitar un potencial accidente” dijo el agente de seguridad Andy McDonald.

“Nos dijeron que la canción de Rihanna viene acompañada con bailes con sombrillas en el escenario. No queremos que la multitud imite su actuación y alguien salga sin un ojo”, agregó.

“No podía creerlo cuando me quitaron el mío. Siempre llevo mi paraguas cuando el clima es poco fiable y está pronosticado que puede caer nieve”, comentó un fanático.
